Rugby, the game I love + brotherhood I need — (like oxygen)
I’m from the Woodland’s, Texas and was proudly born in Houston, Texas in April 2007.
Other than my middle school years, that I lived in Iowa, I have been raised in Texas. I believe in God, Country, and Family and find rugby to be as important to me as my own family.
My daily life is filled with activities of improving myself, and the life around me. Those days involve focusing on helping people and joining in on causes that are important to me while living out the values that my parents have taught me. Reputation is all I have to go on, and every day, I work to improve physically, mentally, and emotionally, to make sure I’m ready for everyday life.
Please take a look around my website and reach out with any questions. At this time, I am available for campus tours and/or applicable camps.
My goal for the foreseeable future is to:
Complete high school with a high GPA
Help our high school rugby team win nationals
Attend a college or program that plays rugby at the highest level in the United States/abroad
Be successful post college/rugby in a business profession that I am proud of
In order to do this I must continue to focus academically, while maintaining and forging new relationships. By being true to my values, I will maintain the integrity of my passions and goals and seek to achieve a higher level of rugby and personal achievement.
My dad played rugby locally and overseas in New Zealand, and he has been coaching me in rugby since I was nine. The game’s values and philosophy were introduced to me at a young age and without recognizing it, it steered me in the right direction of aggressive, yet ethical behavior. This unknowingly prepared me for my move to Iowa where I wrestled competitively, and thankfully, successfully. I am proud to be a part of a loving and supporting rugby family that lives its values.
“My goal is to impact my local, national, and international neighbors through the world’s greatest game.”
World Rugby is proud of its values and character-building attributes of integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, respect, and inclusiveness. These values help rugby contribute toward better societies and ultimately a better world.
